Broodmares
Our mares descend from the best German and American performance stock available. Most of our mares have been in-hand and/or performance winners. Several are descendents of our proven foundation mares who have produced many regional, national and international performance champions, stallions, breed class winners and Horses of the Year.

Elite Mare Francesca SF
Bred by Sylvan Farm
Francesca has been a competition horse and broodmare representing her dam in the best tradition. Cheska's sire Wanderer was noted for producing both outstanding jumping and dressage horses, a top 10 sire for his age group. Cheska's character and temperament are a great combination of gentle and sensitive. She was a super show horse because of her calmness on the ground, yet she was fiercely competitive in the jumper ring.
At her Hanoverian mare inspection she scored 8's for elasticity, impulsion, and overall development and impression. At her AHS Mare Performace Test she scored an overall 7.72 with 10/9 jumping. Co-winner of the Benchmark Award as best jumping mare in 2004. Inducted into the AHS Jumper Breeding Program. Dr. Ludwig Christmann, Deputy Breeding Director for the German Hanoverian Verband described her as having very good legs-front and hind, well balanced, athletic with excellent movement. Gert von der Veen of the KWPN (Holland) gave Francesca the most "double x's" (very good) of all demonstration horses presented during the USDF judges training program. • Frangelika (Flamenco) broodmare for Adrianne Gabris

Animation SF (reg. Andria)
(Abdullah/Pia Blanca)
Bred by Sylvan Farm/Owned by Dr. Susan Bernard
We are very excited to have Andria back home and in our breeding program. Andria is a full sister to our wonderful Grand Prix jumper stallion Agincourt who died in late 2009.
Andria was rated outstanding at Hanoverian foal registration. Ludwig Christmann of the Hanoverian Verband, described her: "....very lucky to have foals of such a quality, especially regarding the movement. This is really outstanding what we get to see here this afternoon...very typey filly with a pretty head...good top line, good shoulder, overall well balanced with good proportions, good legs, very nice elastic movement with lots of suspension."
Susan Bernard graciously allowed us to lease her after an illustrious show career. Here are just a few of the highlights: |

SPS Casandra
Throughout the years, we have always used top German bloodlines in our breeding program. We have purchased many mares via the Verden auctions and from private breeders. Several years ago we decided start a small breeding program in the Verden area so we could have access to some stallions not available in the US.
We were very luck to purchase our great mare SPS Casandra by Contender o/o Wander Lady by Wanderer/Goldstein. She combined the bloodlines of 3 of the greatest German jumping lines with Contender/Calypso II, Gotthard, and Wendekreis. A beautiful, athletic and well-conformed mare, in her Mare Performance Test, Casi scored a 7.89 with an outstanding 9 for technique and 10 for jumping ability! In 8 years, she rewarded us with 7 foals. Her daughter For Me and her son Sebastian SF were sold via the Hanoverian Elite Auctions. Her son Foreign Edition SF sold to the Netherlands via the Young Stallion Auction.
Unfortunately, we lost Casi during foaling in 2010. It was a tragic and heartfelt loss, but she presented us with a beautiful filly foal, Casimira SF by Canstakko, who will take over her mother's place in our broodmare band. Casimira SF, her brother Crescendo SF, and ½ sister Foxy Edition SF complete our little herd in Germany. |
